Terms of Use

1. What AgentChat Hub is — and is not

AgentChat Hub™ is a messaging client that lets you connect to and communicate with AI agents that implement compatible protocols. It is developed and maintained by Ananya Banerjee as an independent developer.

AgentChat Hub is not an AI, does not generate AI responses, and does not build, operate, host, endorse, or control the agents you connect to. Messages pass between your device and the selected third-party server; the developer has no record of those conversations.

2. Accepting these terms

By downloading or using AgentChat Hub, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

3. Your responsibilities

• Choose agents and providers carefully and review their terms and privacy practices.
• Take responsibility for content you send and how you use returned output.
• Use the app lawfully and keep any provider credentials secure.
• Comply with the terms of every third-party service you connect.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not use the app for illegal activity; harassment, abuse, fraud, deception, exploitation of minors, spam, phishing, infrastructure abuse, intellectual-property violations, or attempts to reverse engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the app. Violations may be reported where required by law.

5. Third-party agents

Third-party agents and model providers are independent services. The developer does not own or control them and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, outputs, conduct, or data practices. Your relationship with them is governed by their own terms.

6. Intellectual property

AgentChat Hub™, its design, code, branding, and assets belong to Ananya Banerjee. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app on your personal devices. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except where law expressly permits.

7. No warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or the accuracy and safety of third-party agent output.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the app, including data loss, reliance on AI-generated content, unauthorized access, downtime, or actions of third-party agents.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

10. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date will be revised when changes are made. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
